I was having a lot of anxiety and my dentist diagnosed teeth-grinding and recommended a night-guard. I chewed thought the night guard and nothing improved. I am a Speech-Language Pathologist and began learning professionally about tongue-tie, proper tongue position , and myofunctional therapy. A move to CO also got got my allergies under control. Through this I was able to established nasal breathing, and correct tongue posture. My anxiety is now gone and I no longer wake up with jaw pain because I don’t grind anymore.
