What is an airway disorder?

Airway disorders can contribute to a heart attack and stroke and/or shorten your life up to ten years.

Airway disorders refer to any limitation to the flow of air in the upper airway during either day or night. This includes two of the most common obstructive disorders: Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) and Upper Airway Resistance Syndrome (UARS). This means that if you snore or wake up while sleeping you likely have an airway disorder.

These disorders can be the root cause of numerous chronic health challenges, Including:

Sub-Optimal Growth, Inadequate Growth of Cranio-Facial Complex, ADD/ADHD, Cognitive Impairment, Anxiety, Depression, Fatigue, Diabetes, Cardio-Vascular Disease, Alzheimer’s Disease, and Dementia.

Put plainly, in children airway disorders can interfere with proper cognitive and behavioral development; in adults airway disorders can cause heart attack and stroke or shorten your life up to 10 years.

Up to 70 million people in the U.S. Suffer from an airway disorder. With over 80% of these undiagnosed or not being treated properly. That means millions of people, like you and me, are at great risk.
